Before Thanksgiving I did my hair in a twist out. I did not want to do a full blown wash day and style the week of Thanksgiving…it’s just too busy and I usually have SO much going on. So the twist out was my go to. I chose this because with my twists I am able to wear it for a few days in different styles to get me through a little more time. After styling different ways I’m able to change it up by taking it down and fluffing it up! I am here for all of that honey! So here are a 4 styles that I use when I want my twist out to last me for several days.

Pulled Back Low Bun

Pull that hair back! Put it into a low bun if possible and voila! A cute style! I like this style for dressy occasions but it can go with any occasion. In this style I do have my hair twisted to the side which helped me have a swoop. So keep in mind that the way your twists lay can sometimes dictate how your style will look.

Half Up Half Down

Jazz it up another notch! Pull half of your twists up and leave the other half down! take a hair clip, hair tie, or any accessory that will hold the hair that you would like to pull back and BAM there you have it! Style #2! Add some cute sparkle with a bedazzled hair bow if you really want to get fancy!

Front Side Piece w/ Ponytail

On to style #3. For this style take a few of those twists in the front leave them hanging down then grab a hair tie and put a pony tail in the back. You can leave it hanging or you can put it in a bun too. Whatever you like. This style is my sporty style. Its fun and cute!

Top Bun

Last but not least we have the top bun! If those twists are long enough to go up. Make a cute top bun with them! They’re off of your neck, not swinging, and this style is helping you stretch the time out until you take those twists down 🙌🏾. With some cute hoops and a fly pair of shades…honeyyyyy you are ready for the town with your cute twist out style!
